J.E.T. Setting Divas

Jeanette, Evette and Tina sit down with Dr. Christina Afia Harris, a Black Studies PhD turned digital creator who shares Black-owned food, fun, fashion and travel with her followers. Dr. Afia talks about the Bent Wine Polo Classic, how Virgin Voyages stacks up against Norwegian Cruise Line, and why the Philly Black Wine Fest should be on your calendar next year. She also shares how she shoots her own content, and why Ghana and Haiti are her two favorite destinations out of the 45 countries she's visited. It's travel, wine and purpose, all in one episode.

Tina, Evette, and Jeanette relive their front-row night at the Chris Brown and Usher concert in Dallas: the pyrotechnics, the outfit planning, the surprise congressional key to the city, and why they're calling it one for the records. #JetSettingDivas #ChrisBrown #Usher #ConcertRecap #TravelDivas

Would you take a vacation completely alone? Evette just did, and the JET Setting Divas are unpacking what it was really like. Tina, Evette, and Jeanette talk through Evette's solo cruise out of Miami, why she finally took the leap after watching other women do it for years, and what it taught her about traveling without a group for the first time. Plus, they catch up on Jill Scott's postponed Houston and Dallas tour dates, and the eternal question: do you wear the same outfit to the rescheduled show, or start over? This isn't just a trip recap; it's a real conversation about doing something for yourself, even when it feels unfamiliar. The JET Setting Divas hit the Minnesota State Fair for the first time, and they came hungry. Tina, Evette, and Jeanette walk you through everything: Sweet Martha's Cookies (and meeting Sweet Martha herself), wine and savory crepes, gyros, Pronto Pups, roasted corn on the cob, Jive Turkey BBQ, and even a ride down the giant slide. They also break down what you need to know before you go: parking costs, the best time to arrive, and why early morning beats the afternoon crowds every time. Plus, they set up their next challenge: comparing the Minnesota State Fair to the Texas State Fair, coming to you soon. Like, share, and follow along with the divas' fair adventures on social media. #JETSettingDivas #MinnesotaStateFair #GetTheeToAGreatFair #FairFood #StateFairFood #TravelDivas

This week, JET Setting Divas (Tina, Evette, and Jeanette) are talking money, home dinners, and a restaurant controversy you need to know about. The ladies break down how they threw a five-course seafood boil at home for a fraction of restaurant prices, and dig into whether those trendy $30 prix fixe restaurant deals are actually worth it. Then they get real about the recent reports involving Texas Roadhouse and Logan's employees, and what it means to dine out as a Black woman right now: what to watch for, how to protect yourself, and why "do your research first" matters more than ever. This isn't just about saving money; it's about knowing where your money is safe to spend. The JET Setting Divas are back with a Dallas recap that has everything: courtside seats at Ice Cube's BIG3 tournament, celebrity sightings (hello, Clyde Drexler and Chad Ochocinco), and a parking lot mixup that turned into full blown drama. Jeanette, Evette, and Tina break down what makes the BIG3 different from a regular NBA game, debate whether 35 really is the new 40, then pivot to survival mode: Dallas hit 106 degrees this week, and these ladies have officially retired their patio wine nights for pool days and Walmart runs. It's basketball, heat waves, and grown woman wisdom, all in one episode. Sprinting through security, gate changes at the last minute, and flights that get delayed, delayed, delayed but never actually cancelled: the ladies are talking about the chaos of modern air travel. This episode covers the airport shuffle in full, from last-minute flight cancellations to why airlines seem to love the delay game more than just calling it, plus how to keep your sanity when your travel plans fall apart in real time.
